Fraser Place Hotel
TypeTen completed the renovation of the Fraser Hotel, a 103-room Victorian aparthotel in the London borough of Kensington.
The work was divided into 2 phases: enabling and building work. After a complete strip-out of 103 apartments, bathrooms, and public facilities, our team overhauled the existing drainage system that expanded throughout the building. Temporary works involved back propping over 3 floors, transferring loads from spine walls, strengthening floor joists, and re-levelling floors in 40 apartments. Over 100 sq mt of Mapei Topcem and 50 sq mt of self-levelling screed were laid as well.
By the end of the project, nine tonnes of structural steelwork had been put in over 5 floors, with TypeTen taking full CDP responsibility.
