25 Savile Row, Mayfair

TypeTen was instructed to perform enabling and builders work over 4 floors of office space in West London for a real estate investment trust, Derwent London. The scope included a strip-out of over 35,000 sq. ft of interior space, whilst the tenant moved to the 2 upper floors of the building, employing an on-site waste regulation regime for responsible and sustainable removal. The client also placed a strong emphasis on noise regulation.

TypeTen approached waste removal and sustainability to achieve an excellent BREEAM and SKA rating, as we aim to do diligently across all our projects. An SWMP was created at the inception of the project to clearly indicate all waste streams from strip-out to completion. By using our own fleet of vehicles, TypeTen had hands-on management of all waste removed from the site to ensure all these objectives were met. We also took regular readings of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) during the fit-out works.

The result of the work was an elegant new reception and exhibition area, modern meeting rooms, open-plan offices, breakout spaces, and new terraces – all built with 100% diversion of project waste from landfill. Our commitment to keeping noise pollution down while tenants were already in the building was well received by both the client and on-site tenants.
